At ONE BLUE EYE we take plastic waste and turn it into something of value. From coasters to caribinas and key rings to combs, the list has only one limitation. Your imagination!
So, not only do we love making things from plastic waste, we also want to share our knowledge and experience with everyone.
Our workshops are open to adults and children and are perfect for communities, businesses, families or individuals who are interested in the environmental impact of plastic and finding alternative ways to recycle. It’s great for crafters and those with a creative side, yet suitable for complete beginners who want to get involved and learn.
You can also join us on litter picks and beach cleans where we can all make a little difference together while enjoying this wonderful corner of the world!

Guided walking tour of Penzance
Take the chance to discover Penzance differently.
Anna, the bilingual tour guide of Penzance town offers tours of our ancient town in English and German.
Every Sunday, from April to October, she runs FREE tours, weather and tide permitting. It is best if visitors check with her first.
All year round, on request, she offers private tours for people who want tours at other times (max. 10 people). This tours are £10pp and last about 2 hours.

If you want to do a boat trip, you won't have to drive to far from our accomodations. Mermaid PleasureTrips ins Penzance is the place to go to. No matter if you want to do a Wildlife Trip / Cruise, Pelagic Trip or a Fishing Trip, you will find what you are looking for. Adrian Thomas, the owner of Mermaid Pleasure Trips and your skipper on Mermaid II, has been at sea all his life – which is some time! Having lived on St Michael’s Mount, Adrian is very knowledgeable about its history and Mount’s Bay generally. He takes great pleasure in telling stories of the Mount and various parts of the fantastic Cornish coastline, while finding you marine wildlife en route. During our Wildlife Coastal Cruises he will probably have you pulling up his lobster and crab pots along the way, so you never know what else you may see!

Just 5 minutes from our accomodations is stunning Guys Butterfly House. You can book your tickets online through his website and then enjoy the fantastic biodiversity and dive into another world.
Guy has been breeding butterflies and moths for over 40 years ,since he was a child. He has a keen passion for these insects and is now in a position to share these wonderful creatures with visitors. He has butterflies from all over the tropical regions.
