We really enjoyed staying in this caravan especially as it was great location with easy access to some beautiful parts of Cornwall. Corinna was very helpfull, responsive and has given us clear instructions. Caravan was as seen in pictures, clean, tidy and with everything we needed. We also had our 2 large dogs with us and caravan park has quite strict policy of dogs being kept on leash while in park, but there is nice walkable path alongside the river, where dogs can be exercised. The park was quiet and not really busy. Stuff kind, friendly and helpfull. There was also van with fish and chips on Friday evening, which was nice and food was lovely. Overall nice experience of our first trip to Cornwall. Thank you Corinna 😊

Lovely quiet location, great place to stay for Penzance, Land’s End, St Ives, and south Cornish coast! Host was very responsive and helpful. Kitchen full of useful utensils if you’re planning on cooking!

Enjoyable stay, not too long a drive to beautiful beaches and lovely walks. A little river on the property kept our son happily busy. My brother and his kids stayed in a cabin in the same location and we felt safe letting the kids roam between cabins. Very quiet and peaceful. Being able to bbq every night was a bonus.

What a wonderful place for a holiday, the location is quiet and scenic surrounded by farmland, with a stunning river running throughout. ‘Sleepy Willow’ was generous in pitch size and the decking made for the perfect evening spot. The accommodation was spotless and like home from home. The kitchen had everything we needed and the large fridge / freezer meant we could even get a shop delivered. Our children are 7&8 and shared a bedroom which was compact but still perfectly formed and they loved sharing.
The shower was epic (hot & powerful) and perfect after a day at the beach. The lounge was very comfortable and fitted us perfectly. We had a few wet days so being able to play games, watch films & chill out really helped us entertain the kids. The double bed was on the small side but again considering the size of the unit the double bedroom offered lots of wardrobe space, a good size en-suit toilet and lots of cupboard space, the bedding was good quality and warm.
Our dog was very welcome and the on-site dog walking field was a beautiful space to walk, benches at the top of the hill were worth the walk to see the views and enjoy the sunshine. The river walk was also stunning. Both the dog and the kids made the most of getting in for a dip despite how freezing it was.
The location of ‘Sleepy Willow’ is just perfect. Located 1 minutes from the village of ‘Goldsithney’ which offered a handy shop and 2 pubs both great for food. ‘Marazion’ is 5 minutes away which is just stunning with views of ‘St Michaels Mount’’, a great beach and a few holiday shops. We also found another great food pub on the road into ‘Marazion’ .
We travelled to St Ives, Lands End, Geevor Tin mine and Hayle nowhere took more than 30 mins so we found ‘Sleepy Willow’ really was the perfect location. Our favourite dog friendly beach was ‘Porthkidney’ which offered beautiful sandy beaches and perfect blue water.
Needless to say we loved our stay and will be booking again. For a home from home in a peaceful beautiful location, it was perfect.
Sleepy Willow was a real home from home! The caravan was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, it was like waking into a hotel with the beds made and towels laid out. The caravan was situated on a beautiful dog friendly site with the beautiful River Hayle running alongside it. The owners were perfect hosts from the very first communication, they made our stay very welcoming and re-assuring, we would highly recommend Sleepy Willow for a relaxing retreat in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
We really appreciate your stay at Sleepy Willow and hope you had a relaxing holiday which created unforgettable moments.
